Peggy Hamilton LMT, CPT founded  GoodLife Fitness Studio in 2017.  She is a baby boomer and understands the needs of Seniors.   She is a nationally certified fitness trainer, NASM- National Academy of Sports Medicine, AFAA-Athletic & Fitness Association of America,  senior wellness coach, group exercise instructor, and licensed massage therapist with over 48 years of experience in the Fitness Industry.  Her passion is helping clients improve and maintain quality of life with exercise and a healthy lifestyle. Peggy’s Group exercise classes include Core fusion & Foam Rolling, Step, Interval Training, Yoga, Stretch, Strength, Aerobic Dance, TRX, Senior Balance & Movement. More Certifications include ACE -American Council on Exercise: Group Instructor Certification, Yogafit Levels I & III, Mat Pilates, CPR & AED.  Massage Therapy modalities include trigger-point therapy, deep tissue, Swedish/relaxation, and AIS (Active Isolated Stretching) technique. #MA 54047

Peggy founded the GoodLife Cancer Dancers in 2018 to help female cancer survivors celebrate life through inspirational music and dance.  She helped choreograph dance medleys and performed for 6 years with the dance group for Cancer charity fundraising events. Peggy has offered free group exercise classes at GoodLife Fitness Studio supporting Friends after Diagnosis female cancer survivors since 2018.

DJ Blackmon is Peggy's grandson and brings young, up-beat energy to Team GoodLife! He enjoys Hip-Hop, African/Island Dance, Robot & more!

Join DJ dancing with lively music and fun-to-follow dance steps!

Beginners are welcome. This is a low-impact class with modifications for all levels.

Mady

Mady Bochar makes Fitness Fun!!  Mady plays fun energizing music, is enthusiastic, and always offers a beautiful smile!! She teaches some fun line-dancing mixed with strength and balance classes. Mady is the former owner-director-trainer of Accent on Fitness, a women’s fitness club in Rhode Island.

She has 48 years experience in the fitness industry and understands Senior women’s health and fitness needs. She is a nationally certified fitness trainer and group exercise instructor with AFAA (Athletic & Fitness Association of America), a senior wellness coach, strength training, and arthritis exercise specialist. Her passion is helping clients improve and maintain their quality of life with exercise and a healthy lifestyle. Mady’s Group exercise classes include Interval Training, Strength, TRX, Stretch, Balance, Senior Balance & Movement, and Line Dancing.  CPR & AED Certified

Junko

Junko Breon has extensive experience in line dancing, ensuring that the dances are enjoyable, safe, and easy to follow.

Each dance is usually associated with, and named for, a specific song, such as Uptown Funk, Shivers and the Electric Slide to name a few.

Please wear gym shoes. No experience necessary.

Sue Burk Yoga Teacher

Sue Burk teaches alignment-based Hatha Yoga & Barre. She enjoys sharing the tools for a healthy body and mind with others and teaches with the goal of making yoga and barre accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Sue completed her yoga teacher training at The Yoga Center of Columbia in Maryland and has completed additional certifications and trainings, two of which were in India.

She is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. Her Barre certification is through American Barre Technique. Sue has enjoyed teaching group and private sessions to adults and children, and is now happy to be teaching yoga as part of the GoodLife Fitness team!

Lisa

Lisa Cave is a GoodLife Fitness certified 40 hours + group exercise instructor. She has been an active fitness enthusiast her entire life. Lisa has always enjoyed sports including weight training, dance, and jogging.

Lisa is a fun, motivating, and knowledgeable Fitness Instructor specializing in weight training, Step Choreography, Aerobic Dance, and Tabata Interval classes. She teaches ALL level classes demonstrating modifications for all ages and fitness levels.

Shakti

Shakti Durgaya has dedicated herself to teaching yoga for 30 years. From Sivananda yoga to Kripalu style hatha yoga, she has spent the last 22 years training teachers in Kali Natha Yoga, which was handed down to her by her teacher Ma Jaya.

Shakti's breathwork, meditation and unique instructional techniques invite all levels to enjoy her classes.

DaJuane

DaJuane Harris "the Kentucky Gentleman"  has been a Zumba Instructor since 2017 and we're grateful to have him join Team GoodLife!  Join DaJuane's fun and energetic Zumba classes and get your groove on!!  DJ (nickname) teaches a variety of Zumba classes including Zumba, Zumba Gold (includes chair), Zumba Step & Toning.  Modifications for all fitness and skill levels. Wear gym shoes.

Dana

Dana Hagood is a GoodLife Fitness certified  40 hours + group exercise instructor. She has many years of experience participating in various fitness classes.

Dana is a high-energy, motivating, and knowledgeable Fitness Instructor specializing in weight training, Step Choreography, and Tabata Interval, Classes. She teaches ALL level classes demonstrating modifications for all ages and fitness levels.

Dana is a licensed pharmacist graduating from the University of North Carolina.

Dee Dee Maiorca has 11 years of experience in the Fitness Industry. She has ISSA, International Sports Sciences Association Certifications, as a Personal Trainer, Fitness Coach, and Nutritionist. Dee Dee is also certified as a Gravity Group Exercise Instructor, SCW Pilates Matwork, and CPR and Basic Life Support.

Dee Dee is a Personal Fitness and Health Trainer for one-on-one individual sessions at GoodLife Fitness Studio.

Beth Nolan Beth was a Radio City Rockette for over 20 years. She performed in films, television specials, international tours and on cruise ships. She is a former NJ state champion gymnast with a strong background in Classical Ballet. Currently she is a judge for Starbound National Talent Competition and has appeared on “Dance Moms.” 

Beth is a Method Pilates certified instructor with 18 years mat pilates teaching experience. She teaches a variety of Dance Disciplines, Pilates, Stretch and Barre classes. Her Ballet background assures proper alignment and utilization of muscles in all of her classes. Modifications are given to accommodate all levels.   Beth enjoys sharing her vast knowledge with all of her students.

Himalaya Parker is a 500 hour yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor and a senior Kali Natha Yoga instructor. Kali Natha Yoga was  founded by Ma Jaya of Kashi Ashram in Roseland, Florida.  Himalaya was ordained into the Swami Lineage at Kashi Ashram.

She is a licensed massage therapist #MA 17417, reflexologist and tuning fork sound therapist.

Himalaya taught very popular classes at Living Yoga Studio and since the 1980's at various recreation departments, addiction and rehabilitation centers and yoga studios in our Community.  She teaches a flowing and meditative style of yoga which may include the use of breath, mudras, postures, stretches meditation and relaxation.

Gigi Robinson  comes to us with 35 years of fitness experience.  She is originally from Connecticut where she owned 2 fitness studios.  She is a permanent Florida resident for the past 7 years and has 3 children and 3 fabulous grandsons here in Vero Beach.

Gigi has 3 level certifications in yoga and pilates.  Gigi also holds national certifications in Barre,  Group Fitness, Personal Training and Tabata.  She teaches at two local private clubs and often blends her knowledge and experience to teach yogalates, barrelates and Tabata Barre.

Lena Santos

Lena Santos, originally from Brazil and an American for over 35 years. In 2008 Lena was introduced to Zumba and fell in love with it. She has been teaching Zumba  in various fitness facilities in Indian River County for many years. Lena’s vivacious personality, big smile and love for dance will keep you coming back for more!

Lisa Snycerski

Lisa Snycerski has been a devoted Studio/Office Support person since the beginning in 2017.

She is our Social Media go-to-person!  Lisa keeps things running smoothly and with a beautiful smile!

Lisa is  a certified dog trainer and owner of "Won Love Dog Training."

She is an animal lover and volunteers her time and hard work, supporting different Animal Protection & Activist Groups.
